Reflection Mindset

I I’m constantly rehearsing On my versing Never sliding or swerving My Rhymes play Like a wordsmith I’m Cleverly disguised as a responsible adult Remembering to stay humble And claim my guilt and my fault The Wisest Man once said what’s the use If there’s no saltiness to salt This is that one bullet left Kinda thinking I only got one shot I’m either swimming or sinking Addicted to pain But no longer drinking Writing is my addiction Because I’m constantly thinking Gotta type what I’m writing Gripping That pen tight had my wrist sore Like I’ve been fighting Carpal tunnel from Brilliantly inscribing All the feelings that I’ve been Jekyllin and Hydin I shine bright like broad daylight All up in your face Like eyesight Wisdom is what I’m speaking Like my foresight is insight Creatively blessed I think it’s Divine Inspiration Have patience The rise of a champion Inspires inspiration What your running from Is what you should be Standing and facing Anxiety in my mindset Had my feet pacin Heart racin Use to have that Flash point anger When I’m feeling any type of frustration Now I’m patient Not trying to get so upset That I’m keeping doctors with patients I’m a scholar of the World But I found Faith Not Religion Religion is a construct Used to keep us all in division But Faith is a mindset Of making Disciples it’s truly addition Listen, those that are lost Are the ones missing And I’m sayin it’s still our mission To be Fishers of Men Because Jesus did use the profession Of men that loved Fishing To spread The message of His Ministry Hook line and sinker- I’m just a regular man Who is an incredible thinker I’m just trying to share the Light I’ve been Saved by Grace A man in my position only wants others to be saved Who wouldn’t want to speak on life So Rage- Rage against the dying of that Sacred Light There’s a time to win A time to lose A time to hold on for dear life This is a double bladed knife Strife on the left hand Every reason worth living for And Salvation for those that walk upright I believe if it’s not right Then just don’t do it If you go through it You will have to pay the price When it comes down to it But if the shoe fit You should definitely be careful With How you walkin Keep wisdom within your mouth So your tongue does No negative talking An ignorant man is one who stays balking At the application of knowledge To a life where he’s falling Stumbling along blind It’s amazing to have two perfectly good eyes And still find yourself blind Living out loud Like it’s possible to buy time All those who refuse truth Are only living their lie And I sigh... they Living and feeling insecure neurotic and emotional But go ahead Just say that your fine The Bible says the Lord Is the Beginning and the End I don’t want to find out that I haven’t begun When I finally meet my end Because A tree that is mighty Can withstand the fiercest storm But in its unassuming ignorance It ends up yielding To an enemy of a lesser form So I stay alert like Someone pulled the alarm Weapons will kill you But sometimes words will do more harm Stay informed And be forewarned You cannot be cold, but hot Not lukewarm We came to be the season of the Earth It’s a tragedy that this generation Doesn’t even know it’s worth And it’s gonna take work To get things to a point in which they work It’s not the building that you go to But The body of believers That constitutes the Church Preach Pastor! Preach! Is the chorus in the Church The Lord says you will find Me If with your heart you search. Any man that seeks Surely will he find And any man that knocks on doors Surely They will open in their time But seek and knock While it is still yet time The Kingdom is coming And you don’t wanna be the one Whose Left behind.
