Reflection

REFLECTION Reflecting the world tiny one, In what you see where you've landed. Dancing, copying, becoming. Now, a yellow wild canary. Then, a dandelion puff. Not pretending but reflecting, Becoming, summed in soul. In the mirror I see the wrinkles, In the silver see your smile. I see the outside in decline, You only see inside, for awhile. Thank you for your kind words Funom. I'm studying for a Physics Final but have decided to read all PS people when I take breaks. The proofs for maths in physics are pretty tough so I'll love the poetry breaks. Have you on my FOLLOW List!

We are the sum of our lives-the good, the bad and the mysterious too. When young we look ahead, when old we reflect back to days of our youth. Seeing our mistakes, loves, heartbreaks , fallacies , joys, successes and failures etc.. To write about life, one must have lived it first.. I lived a wild life-complete with huge mistakes! Adding this gem to my fav list.. Thanks..A7

I am older than you & a lot of people in PS so I seriously know about those mistakes. The hardest thing is the letting go or the forgiving oneself. Such a difficult task but can drag you under. I think it is interesting to look in the mirror with a young child and see that past & present journey. I love that they want to be older to do more. We want to be younger to do more. Thank you ALWAYS Robert for your experience and wise comments.
