Reflection

I see you as I sit, By the river, Trees rustling, A cool shiver, I try to read your mind, Words unspoken, Deep within, I see you broken, By tiny waves, Of emptiness, Of sadness, Of fear, Suddenly, It becomes clear, On the surface, I can see, You are a reflection, Of me, But how can that be? I am strength, I am honor, I am pride, So I turn my back, And leave you behind.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
