Reflecting Naked
Mirror
I saw you today.
Yes! I saw you.
You, the reflection that looked back at me.
I was naked to the world,
for the first time
like a baby bursting out of a bloody, monstrous womb, crying;
I want to go back in.
I do not.
want to be here
Get me out;
of this mirror.
Get me back into the womb.
I do not want to see you, my reflected naked body.
My fat, disgust and shame!
Push me back in!
I do not want to be here anymore.
Let these clothes be my protective shell
I refuse to see you today.
