Reflect

We are fractured, Fragile, Desperate for more Yet we settle for milk. We live to dress, Impress, And repress. Our Smiles greet soulless streets. Internally, we are gasping for air Afraid to show what’s really there. Disaster could strike at anytime Look at all the earthly signs. We are always majoring in the minors, And minoring in the majors Leaving doors open to eternal Danger. We fill our minds with wit and charm While deafening our ears to the spiritual alarm. Running towards a dead end Seems to be a common trend. Waves of nutrition Bleed out all superstitions. We are called to the mission He already paid out tuition. This is war A kind we are not trained for. The only fire that we are fighting Can be found in Jehovah’s writings, The true battle is in our head Renew the mind with his daily bread, This generation has a desire For God to truly inspire Breathe fresh winds into our atmosphere Give us a chance to finally adhere.
