Red Wine

take a drink and watch me begin to think you never gave a second thought to all the torment you brought about you never cared even when my soul was bared you came to me and brought confusion then you left and demanded dissolution now my gentle side is not so fragile and pure for my internal injuries there is no cure were we too young or just naive? no chance for an answer, you're ready to leave i wanna talk but you say no you don't love me, you have to go you won't go to the counselor to talk when you don't care its easier to walk you don't care about the child or the bills in the mail don't worry bout the mortgage, you just bail please when you leave take all of the reminders of the love and life i lived with blinders my psyche is damaged my heart is torn my confidence is shattered and you aren't here to pick up the pieces
