Red Sunsets
my thoughts meander in the quiet of night
winding through my every dream
dreams take wings in distant flight
landing gently in moonlight's gleam
When dawn's light falls upon the leaves
the majestic oak echoes with birdsongs
under a blue sky, the melody weaves
the threads of summer's sarong
As the summer sun journeys west
it bestows the sky with red sunsets
that glow upon the farmer's fields
As crops are rippling in the breeze
