Red Roses Fenced In Dances

While walking by a fence one day, I saw some roses start to sway As summer breezes blew our way Beneath blue skies without clouds. The breezes caused red roses to Dance and curtsy, as dancers do, Do swings and sways and then do bows Under summer’s warming sun. I stood, for some time, watching them, Very pleased at their fenced in dance, As they displayed their pedals red To me and all passing by. Then, on I walked to get things done The very many tasks I’d do. But, with me I would carry them In my mind and memory. W.C.Hull © 2020-WCH20-WCH1-20 W.C.Hull © 2020-H1449-2559-I52-K52-27-L59-26
