Red Roses

Of all the flowers- it is the rose I love the best, And the most beautiful to me is the color red; In my journals sweet red roses I have pressed, Cover me with roses red when I am laying dead. Oh, let me take my beloved flower up above, At my bed in a vase are red roses drooping; This flower is forever death and is deep love, So lovely- I truly adore this cut rose grouping. Enjoyed this very much. Roses are one of my favorites, but then when it comes to flowers I have many. I was walking through a garden the other day admiring the beautiful and unique purple Passion Flowers.

wowow. One of my favorite of the flower poems I have seen . I did rose too, Constance!! But all roses!! I really love how you portrayed the red one and especially that very last phrase. that really sealed it!!

Hi Constance, such a lovely, emotional write by your pen. This is truly beautiful, a piece that stirs the emotions deep within the reader. This is an excellent way to to look on the rose, with joy and sorrow intermixed. The roses bloom within hearts always. Here, with this piece, a tear falls at the vision you paint with your words.
