Red Room

Unlike the blue room The red room has energy Like the sun’s hot fire Nestling into the red room Warms even the coldest soul Unlike the blue room The red room has energy There’s a spark within A dominating feeling Power of heat, electric Unlike the blue room The red room has energy Powers interfere Heat escapes the red furnace Curtains keep in the warm fire Unlike the blue room The red room has energy A blast of feelings Warm and caressing, lovely Delightful boiling hot room Unlike the blue room The red room has energy Red room’s power sighs Portrays the feverish eyes The epitome of fire

Reads like a passionate room that you have seen or live within its walls..Enjoyed reading this eve..On Sesame Street one character said one day I don't know why I am so blue..He lived in surroundings that were all blue and I think that his fur was blue..Thanks for stopping by with your very uplifting review..Sara

This sizzles !!! I've only tried a tanka a few times, need to revisit it. I like that you used the first two lines and expanded each tanka to show why it had more energy. Yes, I am experimenting with new short forms. Maybe I can use up these short ideas I have for a poem written down everywhere lol You are an excellent poet by the way. Thank you for your continued patronage to my writes. Blessings to you !!
