Red Dawn Coming
A red dawn
is coming
our forces have been
liberated
This unreal evening
one thousand voices
rise in unison
We're expecting swords to clash
Yes, and we're expecting
victory against all odds
The fire which is lit within
Keeps burning
all through the night
Our eyes need rest
before we see the enemy
Tomorrow will arrive
and
the blood red sun
will rise
over the city
and the plains
and with it struggle between
our people and theirs
The silence of night is over
let the crows fly overhead
we'll follow our king
to victory
If you wish peace
then tomorrow can only bring
you sorrow
If you wish liberation
from the ghosts of
the past
Then join us
as we sing in unison
A battle hymn long forgotten
As the heartland cries out
As the cities cry out
We'll sing, dance and ready
ourselves
For whatever suffering the
future brings to us
One last defiant note
Sampson was blind when he
toppled the structure of
the Philistines
We see with two good eyes
We shall work wonders!
