Well thats not very happy. how tempting to reach for that red ball, this could be a metaphor for something else...anyway you meant it, it hold lots of meaning.

Hi Casarah, Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed it. All actions have consequences. With haiku you try to tell a big story with a few words. Who wouldn't be temped by a big red ball floating on the water?....You just have to watch your step. (The poor person never had swimming lessons.) Have a great week end. Take care. Earl
