Reading You
I touch thy hand
And see all your dreams,
They flow like electric currents,
Racing in ridged motions,
I see your fears,
Your sorrows and joys,
Everything that was to be,
But has been long forgotten
Everything, that you long
To become realities,
Slices of your nightmares
Yes I do see,
Frightening and dreadful,
Haunting you in the waking of each day,
In the passing of the years
And throughout time eternity,
Spine shocking, needle stabbing,
Never ending pain in your heart,
For thy pain is not for thy nightmares,
Nor for the speeding of time throughout eternity,
It’s from the fear of being unnoticed,
From the one person who makes you
Feel safe, free, and secure,
In a place where things seem
To be moving too fast,
Where you feel forgotten
In a giant spiral of darkness,
In which you search for their speck of light
To let you know that you’re not alone,
Not now,
Not forever.
