Read At Your Own Risk

Association with poets can lead to certain health risk, writer's cramp, alphabetism, writer's block, and most importantly staring at the one eyed monster until eye strain develops. Treat with bananas and no doze prn. Traveling to varied and exotic places is often prescribed for writer's block with a small percentage of success reported. The rest of those treated reportedly ran off with an island god/goddess and were never heard from again. If I am not heard from again, you know where to find me... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~|~~|~~|~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~\~~ ~~~/~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~_ _~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ . ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ^ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ / \ ~~~~~~~~~~~ || ```````` || ```` ``````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````` ``````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````` *My husband says it looks like a bowl of ice cream--well it is suppose to be a beach with the sun setting. lol. good one, so clever. i have 5 to 4 months of a writers block on this website where people write novels on. well, it takes a bit longer thann poetry, so that should be why, and i have other things to do, so imagine how long it would take me to type up even one chapter compared to one poem.lol.more than half the hours it takes me for a poem.yes, im crazy.i hope i don't ever go on vacation here, don't think i will if i keep thinking.very clever poem. -Always&Forever Lynette

Doris, I just had to revisit this. SMILES. If this looks like a bowl of ice cream, what I want to know is who puts toothpick in their ice cream? It looks like sun rays to me! It reminds me of my teenage years when I was first learning how to apply paint to canvass-ette. Someone dear to me told me that my work looked like garbage. Hurt in heart, my next painting was for him...a garbage can. But we both grew up. He repented, I kept trying to paint, and we are happy in our old age. (Siblings.)

I'm ready to join you in that "exotic place," Doris. Thanks for the lovely image, too. As for sleeping, it comes hard for me. Have a sleep disorder and often get up in the middle of the night. I can appreciate the sentiments in your words here! Love, Carolyn

Haaaaaaaaaaaa! I think you had it going in this one Doris. Writing poetry one needs to put up a Hazmat placard. In case you don't know what that is, it is a small sign that is placed on truck and trailer hauling hazardous material. Agape, Moses
