Ray
In the third row of a little country church
There sits a vacant space
A happy soul named Ray
Sat in his wheelchair in that place.
Always ready with a firm hand shake,
A hearty laugh and always a smile
Always a story ready to tell,
If you took the time to stay a while.
Stories of his work, his family, friends and wife
Stories from a man who served his Savior with his life.
God has called him home today
One more saint beholding God's glory
One more saint that God has used
With his own unique life story
There'll be a vacant seat on Sunday
Where a dear man used to be
Whose now worshipping the God he served - for ALL eternity!
