Author's Notes: This is a "Tanka" or a Japanese verse form write on the subject of "Rapture." For this write, I examined "Rapture" from the perspective of what I sense and feel, as a poet, when I consider its spiritual application above and beyond our "Earth Plane" existence. For me, Rapture does quite literally reflect both a spiritual and a magical force as one. The syllable count for this Tanka is: 5-7-5-7-7, for a total of 31 syllables, and the total number of words is 20 for this write. (Gary Bateman - January 3, 2015) (Tanka)
