" Nature is gorgeous, opening wider vistas of paramount beauty and variety. Leave your cloistered existence and ramble through the hidden pockets of Nature. You'll be amazed at God's craftsmanship"~ By Poet
After the dull and wintry day, Has dawned a bright and sunny day. Stop my friends your indoor play, Into the countryside, let us stray. We shall watch the beauty on our way. Listen to the songs of merry Jay. Enjoy the flowers on every tree, Those that sway in pleasant glee. Let us sing a merry song, As we ramble joyfully along. Let us wander all day long, As to the rural folk we belong. Far into the woods we shall go, Where there graze the deer and the doe. We may spot the fawn at play, Down the hills a little away. We shall watch the birds that fly, Up and up into the farther sky. Also squirrels that bark on trees, And listen to the hum of honeybees. We should wind our way to the hill, With safe steps and rising thrill. Leaving behind the dust and dirt, Taking breaks in every leafy covert. We shall roam into the valley below, Where the trees are planted in a row. Some are laden with juicy plum. Shall pluck n’ eat them yum, yum, yum!

I love the free-spirited nature of your poem and enjoyed roaming with you exploring nature in a most whimsical way. Your couplets are beautiful as is your imagery. The last verse reminded me of the plums I picked as a young child, eating them immediately feeling nature's warmth in my mouth. This is truly a masterpiece and, as Sotto said, a testament to your extraordinary talent. Have a great evening, hugs, Sara

Delightful! So long since I have walked in a meadow or orchid. Thank God for my healthy, plentiful garden. Always feed the birds and gently shoo the cats -- little rascals, you got to love them also.
