Torrential downpours drown this summer day; huge puddles forming, filled with tears of rain. No sun and sky of blue- my heart gives way to sadness while my mood reflects past pain. Amazing, how a summer storm will bring old sorrows to my heart that hurt anew; the dreariness that soon will seep and cling as rain brings forth old darkness into view. Oh, rainy day, your gloom weighs on my mind with solemn thoughts you always bring to me. Yet, when the sky is cleared of clouds, I find my smiles return as sunrays bring forth glee. A rainy day can stir the depth of pain- with hopes long-lasting sun will heal again.
