Rainbows On Earth
Vibrancy dictates the fronds of the season
Silently petals emerge from their sleep
Filling a valley in need of a reason
Searching for meanings projected to keep
In between stones on a gravel laced flooring
Seeking the light of an inviting sky
Thirsting for rain in their dreams of exploring
Roots travel deep through the soil they ply
Fragrant aromas on winds gently flowing
Summoning bees with the nectar of spring
Pastels in portraits of faces now glowing
Rainbows on earth is the promise they bring
Nature begins where the eye tends to wander
Welcoming all who expect something grand
Painting a canvas in brushstrokes to ponder
Offering beauty now found in this land
