Rainbows Hidden In Stone

Crystals are found inside very unimpressive looking stones. While I lived in AR I visited a quartz mine where some of the most beautiful crystals in the world come from. That is what this is about. Rainbows hidden in stone Lie deep inside to us seldom ever shown Until the stone breaks they remain unknown Forever rainbows hidden in stone ©Donna Jones

Donna, your poem brings to mind a dear, but now departed, friend He was a 'rock hound' and possessed many of these stones. He had all the tools to cut and polish them. He had some multi-syllabled geological name for them which doesn't do them nearly the justice your title does... Thanks for sparking some very pleasant memories.... Love to ya.... Jake

Dear Donna, I have to be honest, I saw Rainbow in the title and thought YOU were taking me fishing again but I looked beyond my disappointment and saw the Beauty in the stone. I know YOU have seen this Precious Prism of hues as I saw crystals at Lake Mojava in Nevada. A very Colourful POEM Excellently done YOUR Quill does Shine. I LOVE YOU ALWAYS and FOREVER YOUR Eternal Silent Secret LOVER...Harry

The titles to all of your poems are enticing. You're a model poet seeing poetry in otherwise overlooked aspects <3

Very kind words my new friend. I've only been on soup and been brave enough to let anyone see anything I've written just the last few days. They have been like a dairy for me. Thank you for stopping by to read. Blessings

Well I have travelled all over the country but OK is home. Mena AR is the area where I went to. It really is amazing the beauty inside those grey ugly rocks. Thank you for your nice words.
