Rainbow Remnants

In quiet moments I think about what was and what could have been. Wish I could peel back the color of rainbows and find the father's promise there within that says I will be your protector. Sometimes I hear him whispering there was nothing more you could have done Every tear we cry at night destined to interact with morning light, Today, there maybe an unspeakable sadness that overshadows Tomorrow, a rainbow that reminds us to search for the good God has hidden in each and every day. Quietly wiping tears away Rainbow stains remain
