raindrops overhead/refresh my tired bones- mud under my shoes [you would have two parts then Linda with refresh as the action/verb] BUT since mud under your shoes in the rain would not be a surprise in is not a good line 3 BUT it still would be a haiku [PS not every haiku I have up on soup IS a haiku I should take down the ones which aren't but I don't have the time -

also there are others ways of doing the haiku Linda but they are too complicated right now for you until you at least master the 2 parts & the difference between objectivity & subjectivity]

Heck yeah, this poem speaks to me. I can't agree more with the message. Rain is so healing not only to the soul, but nature itself. There is nothing more rewarding than a walk in the rain, perhaps with someone to talk to. But even in solitude, being with nature and the gentle rain...it's too beautiful. Love this Haiku. (: Always, Laura
