Rain Sounds
When the sky falls upon its head
Upon a cushion of cloud
Or any work in progress due
I lie upon my pillow
And as night falls in June
Only rain will do
Rainfall brings my sleep
Its intentness but repeat
Brings about a calm to my day
Its beautiful and constant
Bringing with it a fresh familiarity
i find makes my worries drift away
Into a world when i awake
I find i have gone to sleep
In a dream that has no abounds
When i awake and its gone
I simply say 'Alexa'
'Play rain sounds'
