Rain Puddles

Rain shower ceased and the sun began to bake Leaving upon the road steamy little puddles and lakes Two little birds ,scoring their chance Dived into a puddle to shower and shake They splashed and splashed again and again Diving their heads, tails and fluttering wings Flying off, only to fly back in In awe I watched and smiled As I wrote to my son Overseas My worry transformed ,unleashed As I wait for him flying in .only to watch him fly back away....
