Racist Rant

Our POTD is now black versus white. We are going to see a racist rant in plain sight. It’s sad when a poet, uses their pen as a stick. This POTD has no merit and honestly makes me sick. Why would we showcase hate and give racism a stage? All skinheads are animals and belong in a cage. I’m very disappointed with what this site has allowed. It’s simply a detonation with a mushroom cloud. I guess evil is at work causing more divide. Maybe his parents were the same and now gleaming with pride. Whatever the case, it’s a very sad day. This makes me sick to my stomach and it’ll stay that way. Could this be a simple glitch that admin has missed? If not, they are about to see many backsides that can surely be kissed. Someone needs to be ashamed of themselves, for allowing this pungent hate. What has poetry become, and what was it meant to create?

I like your poem, bro. You tell it like it is. What I like the most about is that you wholly understand history, our history and our stories. Honesty can truly heal or patch the deep wounds of slavery. In H.S. and college, I had a few friends who did not look like me. We had no issues about race. Race exists unfortunately to divide. I have no intention to write a sermon or a speech. At the end of the day, this is a great poem and I like it. HL

Besides if you look on Keith's POTD I didn't comment.. I had no reason to start an argument because that is his opinion and he deserves to say what he wants as you do and not seeing as an attack.

mark, my remark was only a statement made by administration. The statement was that POTD is picked on views at the moment, not on the quality. Even Team Soup got POTD because everyone wanted to read what they had posted, and all it was a testing page for themselves and they were very embarrassed over the fact. If that offends you then you have an issue. Like I said before , I don't comment on rants, but the issue of POTD needs to be known. Administration does not chooses who gets POTD. Your title is what the attraction of the views

Heya Mark congratulations on potd, I can see it’s a direct response to Keith’s potd being acknowledged and accepted as a poem, by Admin, I responded myself to it in the comments, but only got evasive answers, which was to be expected, It definitely wasn’t a poem, He’ll be loving this attention, I wouldn’t get into personal slanging it just gets taken out of context, as you can see below, cheers David

Mark, congratulations on your POTD. My only critique to your well intended poem would be this; change line #2 in verse #3. Your arguments are with the poet and to a lesser degree the administrators and not to the parents. Just saying. John

I was wondering who is deciding these POTDs... I mean who are the admins here...?? Some months or so ago, I saw a very controversial poem about women, and yes, that too was declared POTD. Seems like one of the admins is a tradition racist. Lol, no offence intended. Anyway congratulations Mark!

Skin heads started out in London in the sixties that way. In the United States skinheads are a white supremacy group that started here in the 70’s.

I have shaved my head countless times, I have not ever been referred to as a “Skinhead”. The Skinhead culture itself has subcultures that are in fact not racist, back in the day I was friends with a SHARP (skinheads against racial prejudice), she rocked a chelsea and beat up nazi skinheads.

"All skinheads are animals and belong in a cage." -- What's fair and unbiased about that remark, Mark? --How about chemotherapy patients? They're 'skinheads.' Are they animals? How about some former NBA stars, like Michael Jordan? Were they all skinhead animals? ... And btw, please read Keith Trestrail's POTD again. I think you'll find that it's not racist, but rather a sharp-edged pen-knife taken to the intemperate 'gotcha-dialogues' of the day... Thanks for reading, and congrats on POTD. ~ gw

I was a hospice volunteer for over 20 years. In case you haven’t heard of that group either, they give end of life care for cancer patients. I used to volunteer up to 30 hours a week. My mother and father lost their hair from chemo before they died. You sir are offensive and disrespectful

Anyone that can justify George Floyd having a knee to his neck is absurd. Let's say he was actually restrained for his protection, the moment he said he couldn't breathe they should have tried another “ proctection” method. George Floyd wasn't supposed to die.

Thanks Jenna, I can't understand either why he is so focused on a country that he will never be a part of. He must just be a hateful old man. I think he likes to stir up trouble. His last rant is about George Floyd and how it wasn't the police officers fault that he kept his knee on the man's neck for 8 minutes until he died. He actually thinks that the officer was in the right.
