When I am alone I will create, in the silence, I write poetry as that is my fate, in the silence. I have a need to seclude myself and withdraw from life, wanting to be hidden and concentrate, in the silence. Inside me a storm of thunder and lightning is raging, my sad words are swirling and penetrate, in the silence. Into the dark of night quietly I write my poems, I have this sweet power to captivate, in the silence. I feel what you are saying here, BW. I can't write with distractions, of which I have had too many as of late. Even music is a distraction at times. Love the repeated word.

James, thanks for the visit, I like writing in silence, sometimes before I write I will listen to classical music, but will turn it off to write. I have been trying different forms of late, and Ghazal is a nice one for repeating lines, I really like it, hopefully I do well in the contest ~

I think on some superficial level I can relate to this poem. Surely in the gaps of the words is a whole different world/dimension that is uniquely yours to tread, but at times...in the silence, I find myself most inspired. I really enjoyed this write, it's an easy 7 from me.
