Quarantine 2020

Walked into my favorite store No doubt of where I'd go Straight to the paper products aisle As if other shoppers didn't know Everyone looks like robbers Hiding behind a mask Trying to stay six feet apart Is not an easy task No parties, no family get togethers Hiding from the world outside Social distancing is now a thing We take it all in stride Kids are now on line to learn Parents at their wits end Wash your hands and sanitize We video chat to see a friend We've never moved so fast As we look out for our self We jump ahead and rudely grab The last package on the shelf
