Q Tipping

I remember when Q was part of a Tip now Q is a one way trip to crazy town It’s a place where thoughts flip and up is down Where every imaginable conspiracy is found Listen to that mind cracking sound in a basement of a pizza shop they think that trafficked children are bound Democrats demonized Satan worshipers Drinking babies blood Some welcome the insanity in like a flood Internet researches named Beth, Karen, Mike, Bubba, Bob and Bud all of them happily wallowing in the mud So wether they believe in the Deep State or PizzaGate QAnon somehow thinks an Old World Order controls our fate Slick videos crash minds as feeble sheeple bite into the bait January 6th becomes their new favourite date Somehow they feel truly Patriotic instead of Psychotic Crazy takes off like gangbusters a fuse attached to a rocket It seems a certain President had them in his pocket A gun aimed at the Capitol and Donny cocked it They were all dim lightbulbs and he electrified the socket So the Q tipped as we watched on TV what a crazy trip “Hang Mike Pence” dripped from their lips Through broken windows the mob slipped as the fabric of Democracy was stained and ripped Still with that darkness over the Country freedom was only temporarily eclipsed So while the world watched and ridiculed “We The people” found a way Thankfully the majority had the final say Yes America witnessed a new day QAnon, White Power, Proud Boys and Anti Semites were kept at bay. Should that not in the end be “The American Way”?

I love this one, Richard. You definitely "nailed it"! Those who are into that QaNONSENSE are the poor slobs who are so ignorant and gullible it's really disheartening and scary. Thank God they were not successful in doing more harm than they did. The other really upsetting thing to me is that Trump actually got away with inciting that riot because of some cowardly and corrupt Republicans in the Senate. However, thank God Trump lost the election and the Democrats control the Senate now. But, their hate and insanity is still a danger to this country. I just pray that somehow most of them can and will be reformed and actually rehabilitated in time. But, as someone said, "Democracy is fragile" and we have to continue to guard it with vigilance and fight for it when necessary.

I must add my opinion, due to so many comments regarding election fraud , as if it is a conspiracy theory. Many brave Americans testified at hearings with concrete facts. To call it a big lie, would be to call them all liars and they signed sworn affidavits. They would go to jail if they lied. I must defend them. I watched hearings.

I watched the hearings as well and I did not see any concrete evidence shown. Putting it in an affidavit does not turn it into proof. The hearings were a publicity stunt because the courts weren’t supporting the false narrative. In courts they require actual evidence.

Hi Richard, My views are quite different, but your writing is excellent; a well crafted poem. My only hope is that our nation does come together. There may be conspiracy theories out there, but dismissing them is dangerous. When only one point of view is being accepted, and opposition is being silenced where is our country going? I see America moving to opinions matter instead of facts matter. Say the same non fact based thing seven times and it becomes an alternate truth. I think social media has legitimized faulty thinking. Freedom has lost it’s salt.

I'm so under-educated on politics. This seems to be a very well written and intelligent poem, but I'm not so sure I can write something you will care for. Hi Richard, First the poem, political or not it is well penned, deep and provoking if i read the comments right..One thing i will says is this. in the 60's when everyone it seemed was smoking pot. i once declared one day these teens will rule the world. I think they are now,,being we are in such a mess.

I used to be so impressed with your ability to write about anything :) but it seems like the last few times I've check in on you, you are political, and demeaning to others' opinions. I'm not talking about the Q thing, I know nothing about that, but there is a lot you don't understand because you get your "facts" from mainstream media. I believe there is a lot of corruption in our government, and it is going to get much worse now. Wait and see.

Hi Becca, I’m sorry you feel that way. This piece is critical of QAnon, White Supremacists and Anti Semites. My other piece was critical of The Proud Boys. Should I not write about these topics which concern me? Are you in support of these groups? If so you are not the person I thought you were. Read my responses to people who have disagreed with me here. They have safely presented their views.

I'll never understand why people believe some of the absurd conspiracy theories, Richard. I can't believe there are some members of Congress who still believe the election was a hoax. Yes, almost as fast as Donald Trump turned against him. As I stated to Keith no amount of proof not even 60 plus court cases will change the minds of people who want to believe the narrative of a stolen election. Thanks for weighing in.

I do not believe in QAnon or what happened at the White house or the dates they keep coming up with. What i DO believe is that evil powers are keeping from us good remedies against covid such as HCQ, in order to enrich the pocketbooks of Big Pharma and all those who have a vested interest in the vaccine. Politics should not have anything to do with our health and I believe the Pandemic has been used in a very manipulative way. That aside, I think you wrote well on your point of view.

In my opinion many medical professionals have good hearts but they are literally trained to push presciption drugs /vaccines, many of which cause a whole lot more problems, and oh yeah, need another prescription to fix THAT, and meanwhile big pharma is getting richer and richer. It's always about the money. But yeah... "feeble sheeple that bite the bait" .... hmmm....

I understand your view based on the personal experience you have had. Still what I know from family who are medical professionals, I am more inclined to their perspective. Thanks for sharing your perspective. I think differing views are oil for conversation. So far no one has stepped over the line. Quite often this type of discourse can devolve to name calling.
