Poets ponder and will never forget, expressing emotions in joy and pain. Scribbling words from sunrise to sunset, ink flows like a breeze in sunshine or rain. Their powerful pens lay strong foundations, as paper highlights their raw reflections. Poetry helps to release frustrations, as imprisoned thoughts sing with inflections. Composing legacies, where words bring peace. Penning sonnets, haikus, free verse and prose. Purveyors of words, where silence must cease, so their tongues are free to bloom like a rose. When hands tire with time and ink yearns to rest, poets are content, they've fulfilled their quest.

"Their powerful pens lay strong foundations, as paper highlights their raw reflections." quite poignant there, Silent! When the writing "bug" catches, scribbling words from sunrise to sunset, really isn't that much of an exaggeration. I hope too find inspiration anew, in spite (or because?) of these trying times. Very accurate sonnet concerning why we write.

'Imprisoned thoughts sing with inflections' Very good. 'Tongues are free to bloom like a rose' Very bad.

I'm certain you are far from fulling you quest and that your hands and ink want to rest - you are so well respected and your poems so much sought after - in any case won't you miss us all? I have written a Pantoum, if you would care to read it. Blessings, Jennifer.

Oh yes! And how much it pains me to write less! I have to read for my job during this isolation time, not what I want to read. Be blessed, dear one!

The power of the pen is mightier then the sword, it's been told. It can be used express yourself, paint a painting, send a kiss a love across the world, or even say good morning I miss you. Wonderful express my friend. Hugs

Such a wonderful feeling, being able to let all emotions free. In a Poetic way. Words will always be, and so will moments of the heart. When hands gently rest, our poetic thoughts live on. So beautifully written and expressed. Silent One. ~ Brandy
