Pursuit

If I follow my instincts I see a glimmer of hope, I would like to but my fears consume me, What if we never elope? What if there will never be a we? Questions plague my mind of negative possibilities Rendering my brain to act precise and rational, Your glance renders my brain to be as chaotic as the seas, Days I just wish these feelings are intentional I love you and I don't want to lose you, Make me your thrall I'll gladly accept, Stab me with rejection as it's been long overdue Now that I have told you every secret I've ever kept.
