I've seen the magnificent jacaranda trees only on the images they give on Google... sad to say. Never seen plants SO purple! Your messengers of Spring seem much more beautiful than ours... great sedoka!

Dear Eileen, Good afternoon, although it is probably evening where you are. i know the Jacaranda tree is native to South America but I would say You live in one of the countrys that surround the Mediterrainien seaor you live somewhere in Africa. I have read this Poem 20 times and still do not know what or how to write a Sedoka. I truely like the words and format of this Poem. You are very Inspiring . I may try to write a Poem for You.Respectfully, Flipper.

I never meant to cause you any sorrow. I never meant to cause you any pain. I only wanted to one time see you laughing. I only wanted to see you laughing in the purple rain. Purple rain, purple rain. Purple rain, purple rain.

I knew before you added that little bit at the end that you were "singing" purple rain for me! Love that song by Prince! Did you check out my link so you could "see" the trees, Richard! They are so lovely. I put another pic up on FB. This actually happened. I paused from my morning walk to get rained on...Richard, how does one express oneself when words are not adequate? This sedoka does do it...It was an eternal moment!
