Punctuation

Punctuation By Franklin Price 6/19/2015 Punctuation's not my thing When writing poetry I let the rhythm and the rhyme Punctuate the lines for me The phrases and the language When coming from my mind Are moving through my fingers Their places on the page to find To think of punctuation Just seems to block the road To how your mind receives my thoughts When in poetic mode If you need some punctuation A comma here and there A period or colon An exclamation mark when fair You're invited to participate And in order not to curse Punctuate as you require As you read from verse to verse And in appreciation These final words I say Thanks for reading what I wrote And have a happy day!
