Psalm 91

My trust is in God alone as I dwell in His shelter on high for He rescues me from every snare covers me so I can safely lie Having no fear of the nightly terror nor the flying arrows through the day no darkly pestilence or wasting destruction my God always rules as I pray Thousands fall on my every side but they won't come anywhere near me for the Lord is my dwelling place no evil can befall but at God's decree His angels are at His every command to guard me in my every way for He holds me fast in His love I will deliver him my God will say Promises to be with me in trouble rescue and honour my God will do showing to me His great salvation taking me to heaven all the way through Psalm 91

Well written Gordon. Another reminder that in Psalm 91 we are loved and protected no matter what. Our salvation is just simply incredible. Someone said to a priest once: " It sounds too good to be true" and the priest replied "It's too good not to be true" Blessings Edward

Thanks for your comments on my poem. I love this Psalm. You honored it with your poem. I sent it to my nephew who was at the time stationed in Afghanistan and told a mom who's son was on his way, this Psalm may comfort her.
