I was once captivated by the things you would say. Just seeing you, would brighten up my day. Now it seems as if that has all changed? The only thing you do, is cause my heart more pain. I wish I had known who you really were. It wouldn't have been so hard. The agony inside me, makes it hard to breathe. The impact you had, was so hard to believe. Now the walls are there, forever guarding my heart. If only they had been there, to protect it from the start.

Nice thought ? I agree? if we never had to use walls, we wouldnt know what it feels like to keep our hearts protected? Or the challenges ourself when faced with tuff situations.. Thank u for the support

very well written explanatary poem, Danielle. Building walls. We all do that. If we did it from the start, would we have known ourselves or the other or love at all? I wonder. -Robert
