Proselyte
As a natural born skeptic,
how in the world did they convince you
to fall into a cult religion out of the clear blue?
Looking back, it's now easy to see why,
what it was that attracted you
They promised you a ticket to heaven;
and your present lifestyle you didn't have to give it up,
you could still do any and everything you wanted to do
Proselyte,
new convert
Dark is your light,
holiness you try to pervert
Keep telling yourself this lie ...
that you can live any way you want to,
because it's God's will for us to live free
Your premise is topsy-turvy:
God freed us from sin, so we could live holy
Hearing that you got converted to that cult,
sounded so strange to my ear
You never believed in anything,
a pure nihilist
who always scoffed at what you called religions of fear
Now lookie here, look at you ---
A proselyte,
a child of hell times two
So don't you dare try to persuade me,
I know all the lies on your cult's long list
I suppose you got what you always wanted,
to meet the devil, who you said didn't exist
