Promises of Love

Just who can bear an empty heart devoid of any hope. Of finding love to help you live and essentiallly just cope. It has been said, we go to bed, per chance a dream or two. For promises of love are there awaiting me and you. But if you wake up all alone to face another day. Don't forget that prayer you said before you hit the hay. Written April 12th, 2012 For Russel Sivveys Contest 6 lines of love or romance. By Robert Johnson

Robert, all these rhymes you make. Don't you know you take the cake? Making rhymes about our stuff. Don't you know it's not enough? Do some rhymes about your life, or create one with a wife! Make a poem this very minute. If you want to, put me in it. (maybe I should start doing my comments the way you do. It's kind of fun!!)

Just creeping back to have another peek and whisper in your ear! Who indeed can cope with loneliness. My Soupers fill a big gap here and isn't it fun to feel the closeness we have. Thanks for your sweet comment Robert, you make it happen! :)
