Promises In the Dark
that waiting
gentle moon,
these are
the starlight
moments
you write,
sinking
into an ocean
of thoughts,
emotions,
your heart
is full,
your kisses
fresh
from your lips,
the darkness
weeps,
longing for you,
waiting
to be held,
the shadows
dream
of more
romantic times
until
the morning
awakens
and jealously
chases
the night
away.
