Promises and Memories

Promises and Memories Promises, they say Are made to be broken We make them, everyday But most are always forgotten. Memories, I know Always die with time Some go fast, some slow But soon, they all sublime. The promises we make The memories we made They make us or break Our hearts alive...or dead. Promises and memories Keep us stronger, still going Happy amidst the worries We live on, always hoping. Promises must exist Even if lies lie in them Memories must enlist For in them lies life's emblem Lies.
