Promise

A promise I stood on from so long ago, My heart had kept, and no one knows, Regardless of experience, heartache, or grief, The promise to love my heart would keep, Through rain and storm, Through sunshine and heat, No matter the weather, our hearts would meet, Endurance and compassion keeps it alive, Therefore you cannot look at resentments eyes.
