Prisoners of My Mind
My eyes today cry tears of sorrow
Foreshadowing a future of sad tomorrows
A single rose placed on a wooden box
Between Bible pages are pressed some locks
Memories of a first shared kiss
Three small words that I'm sure to miss
Are all there is that is left behind
Which always will be prisoners of my mind
