Prince Charming
So I suppose you didn't think I would care when you left
me on the side of the road
You said I was different, you said not the same
But you simpley laughed as you through me away
At the moment I read those words I knew that I was through with you
You didn't think I would be the one to walk away
But what you didn't see is i had another stashed away
Wrong move, I know, but I saw this coming
Now I can only wonder if you think of me when you look at her
What you did was wrong in so many ways
But now I know I'm stronger than you,
now I know you're weak
I see you in a couple of years burning your last bridge
And your last breathe would be so sweet
for you and for me
It'll be like whiskey in my veins
But the whiskey would be bitter sweet, like the tears I never shed
The cries inside tell me I knew better than to
get involved with such a mistake
Although my deeds were done cheap,
at what cost did it come for those other than me?
My conscience lay bare on the floor weeping in pain
Deadened hearts of mine unite and now I see what you really are
Just a scared little child in a messed up world
Oh, I know i can't save you, so don't
turn to me as a savior, I'll never take your hand
I'll never take your pain away, I'm not your Prince Charming
