Prime Circle

Gasping in the frozen marrow Galloping the slopes of the straight and narrow My essence fragments to brick stone Whenever your rock tune builds my ringtone Raptured blisters muster to your guitar My dim heartbeat pleads to your imploding star A lion’s roar stems inside my core Invigorating my heartstrings to outpour My universe built on these six pillars A plume of sound rocks me side to side like a tiller My world is a music box like a fluorescent dice Flaring with life like a completed Rubik’s cube paradise I’m overcome by something fierce of an unknown element My senses peeked into a primal force, light's musical instrument I’m transformed into a super being There is no end to my beginning Rock 'n Roll Rhyme Fest - Poetry Contest Thabang Jan Ngoma 24.08.2016

Rhythmic and hypnotizing write -- made me think of Hendrix. :-)

When I first read this I set it aside to read again because I knew there was beauty within that required very thorough attention - I'm glad I did so because you submitted a wonderful poem that I was honored to have in my contest. Very captivating and very deeply composed. Congratulations!

Some great lines in your write - I thoroughly enjoyed it. For some reason, I sang it through instead of reading it - just happened. Good luck in all things, and the contest ... CayCay
