Pretzels

Pretzels come in many shapes, Like rods and twists and sticks, Some with salt and some without, Depending on your fix. I’ve tasted some with honey Or with onion or with cheese Or those peanut-butter filled ones, Which some fans will surely please. There are jalapeño pretzels For the snackers who like spice And now mini pretzels line the shelves, But here is my advice - If you think too many pretzels Might just end up on your hips, Do not worry, for they are A lot less fattening than chips!

I'm am a sucker for the mall pretzels myself. When my feet hurt and I must sit down to rest, I smell them instantly and thats that. I am in line at Auntie Anne's which appears to be strategically 4 feet away. Tee hee

Good one, Ilene...although I have never managed to acquire a fondness for pretzels, for some reason. Give me some good old Pringles...sour cream and onion or cheddar cheese flavored... instead, and I'm a happy man.

I'm not a fan of pretzels, but have only seen the salty ones - your poem has opened my eyes to all the amazing flavours available ... makes me want to fly over the pond to try them!:-) hugs Jan xx

When I saw this title, I thought, oh no, she's going to do pretzels. It was riveting. Also informative. I'm on salt reduction by choice, and I didn't know there are unsalted beauties. Pretzels are one of my favorite snacks, so thanks for the tip. A great poem that has some interesting twists.
