But know I am who I am now because of the choices (good and bad) that I've made in the past...This is Good Karma! Our decisions will last us our lifetime, we are forever learning...Love, Anaya

Wow! I was searching for examples but your Pleiades makes this novice nervous. "Preferred more than the past" Sometimes we look back with nostalgia and rose tinted glasses. It is only with analytical eyes we can see that the present is preferable to the past. Enjoy the sun.

Very true, Spirit Cook, it does take looking deeper. By looking back at the past, we have the option of believing what we wanted or wanted to happen instead of what actual happened. In the present it just is what it is. Thanks for commenting my friend. Have a great day! Bill

I think about how things might have been different if changed, but know I am who I am now because of the choices (good and bad) that I've made in the past. Thanks for the comment, Eve. Smiles ~ Blessings, Bill

One thing for sure we can't undo the past. We can try to make things right or ask forgiveness then we have to move on without making the same mistakes. I think that takes a power outside of ourselves. Thanks for all your visits. Sara

The past--we allow it to haunt us. It's really (as you say) just a place in time. It can propel us to our future if we so desire. Thanks for an enlightening read.

Our thoughts from our past create the past's future, which is our present. "As a man thinketh, so is he." IMHO Thanks for reading and commenting on my poetry, Miranda. Have a great weekend! Bill
