Precipice Sf

Restless, wanting. Sitting on a precipice. Squirming on the brink of discovery. Wishing to leap, float into unseen possibilities. Wanting to embrace a new reality! Why am I unable to trust? Leaning on my fear. So afraid, You will let me fall. Andrea Dietrich's "Sucintly Free Contest" Written November 13th 2013

Congratulations Rick, well deserved win. Not had much time last few days, still catching up. On this excellent write that asks a hard question, I'd just say, if you can't trust yourself, who can you trust, take the leap and find out. Take care, Richard

Wonderful descriptions of the human conundrum. We yearn to reach out, to connect, yet hold ourselves immobile for fear of the fall. Extremely well done my friend.

Excellent write Richard-- it's all about stepping out of the boat... we will never know if we fail to try.

People forget that a second man walked on water. When Peter stepped out of the boat he walked towards Jesus. When he looked away from him he became fearful and sank still Jesus did not abandon him and they both made it back to the boat. Thanks for making me think of this story. With God there is nothing to fear.

Some fear is only imagined, Richard....Remember...."perfect love casts out fear." Also..."If you dash your foot against a rock and fall, an angel will catch you." Never fear. :-D Hope this does well in the contest because it's absolutely amazing...

True....But worth the risk. How else will you find out the truth? I think you will not fall but fly.....
