Praying to Jesus Is Time Well Spent! I Knew someone with discouragement and despair. Quite unhappy, he asked for some prayer. I didn't feel talking to anyone today. I was “too busy!” And didn't want to pray. There once was a time in life, when I felt God' s awesome power. But lately, my spiritual life has been going sour. Praying for someone is what I should do. But I haven't been living the way Christ wants me to. I’ve accepted and rejected God's unfailing grace. By allowing things into my life, Jesus was no longer first place. If I pray for anyone, it really should be me. I need to be forgiven and free! As I focus on Christ and give him all of my attention. My prayer life will then be in the right direction. Please Lord Jesus, cleanse my life throughout. Praying to YOU is what being your child is all about! By Jim Pemberton 08/13/15
