Pounding With Pain
I’m punctured with pain
My heart gasps for air as needles trickle into my skin creating holes in which the world will enter
Its screaming, it's sharp, It can’t stop
I can barely hear the gentle whisper that wishes to escape
Feet pounding the floor fleeing like wildfire
The burning heat radiates inside
Its stained my eyes as a memory
I have no strength to defend
No mind to speak
Only a heart to cry
