desperados have the sheriff’s address they are threatening the life of his family he rides his mount nearly to death ready to face the outlaws with guns blazing a posse joins him, determined to be of help hoping they will get there in time wanting to save his wife and children a posse on a mission

Hi, Caren! Long time no see! Sorry, my fault…wish i had a posse with me for past 18 months to fight illness. Haha. Anyway, this is quite a thrilling poem! What happens? My hopes are with the sherrif & his family! A great write. Involving, succinct, flowing.

thank you Sally - of course they got their in time to save the day. This was for a poetry contest on AP and we were only allowed 8 lines so this is why the abrupt cliffhanger. I am sorry to hear that you have been ill.
