Pop Video
The year was 1967
The "Turtles" made a video of their hit tune
"Do you know what I mean?"
Great harmonies echo forth from my internet
The video shows the band surrounded by babes in bikinis
That video was made over 40 years ago
In watching it I was transported
back to the 1960's
When the country was in the throes of great change
Many hearts began to rearrange themselves
in patterns which I am willing to say
Are continuing through to this very
day
