Poncho

When I grew up I had a pup His name was Poncho boy could he put on a show He used to knock me down onto the ground He was comparable to a jumping bean that you couldn't wean Reproach to him made no sense one day he jumped the fence He bit the neighbors lip leaving a scar from the nip We had to deliver him away alas he had somewhere he'd stay *A true story

What a pity that some pets turn nasty and have to be taken away! Unfortunately when a dog snaps trust snaps as well:( ~ Regards // paul

At least he got to live! These days a biting dog is often hauled off to be destroyed. An ending that is kind of happy.

I would have been sad if they had put him to sleep :(

Poor Poncho... For some reason I kept thinking of Don Quixote's sidekick. His name was Sancho Panza. I must 'thinking dyslexia.' lol. :)

It was, but luckily they let him go somewhere else instead of putting him asleep.

Seems he was a bit too lively to keep. Wonder what the neighbour said!! Hope the lip healed. ~~

Thank you, Victor. My parents said that the neighbors daughter had a scar after that. :(
